How do I book an appointment?

Open the Doctors page, choose Dr. Sudhansu Kumar and pick a slot that is open. You can also call us on +91 749 107 3667. We see patients Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sunday is closed.

When do the new appointment slots open?

Slots for the next week (Monday to Saturday) open every Saturday at 7:00 AM. If the day you want is full, try again next Saturday morning. Slots may also open if someone cancels.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring your old glasses, any earlier eye prescriptions or reports, and a list of the medicines you take. If you have diabetes or high blood pressure, bring those reports too. Bring a photo ID.

Should someone come with me on surgery day?

Yes. Please bring a family member or friend. Your vision may be blurred for some hours, and any dilating drops (drops that make the pupil wide) can also blur sight. Do not drive yourself home, and do not drive until Dr. Kumar says it is safe.

Will Dr. Kumar see me himself?

Yes. Dr. Kumar does every operation and every follow-up himself. You will not be handed to a different doctor after surgery.

How many follow-up visits will I need?

It depends on the treatment and on you. After surgery you usually come back in the first few days and again after a few weeks. Dr. Kumar will tell you exactly when to return.
